Embedded World 2026 - Booth 3A-140
Abstract
WIZnet Co. Ltd. exhibited at the same location as in 2025, teaming up with WIZnet Hong Kong, WIZnet USA and our WIZnet Germany GmbH. We showcased a new, holistic booth concept at Embedded World 2026 — with special thanks to our wonderful booth builder Uwe Hermann and his team at Fair Congress Logistics GmbH (fcl-online.com).
As always, we welcomed numerous partners and friends to our booth.
Together, we presented our secure, IoT-enabled supermarket shelf utilising our proven Genesis Board equipped with our updated Renesas RA8 ZKIE bootloader.
We are now officially a Renesas Technology Partner for their RA MCU family, delivering next-generation security solutions to their ecosystem and customers.
Another key focus was demonstrating our ZKIE security architecture on the well-known WIZ500SR-RP serial-to-ethernet module family. These S2E modules are based on the Raspberry Pi Pico RP2040 and the W55RP20 SiP, which integrates the RP2040, W5500 and 2 MB flash into a single package.
In short, our ZKIE bootloader is now available for the RP2040, the W55RP20 and all modules based on them.
Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) was another major highlight of Embedded World 2026. Our colleagues from Korea set up a demonstrator and presented the WIZ750SR-T1L (Serial-to-SPE) and the WIZMC-T1L media converter.
In short, we presented:
- ZKIE bootloader for Renesas RA4, RA6 and RA8 + demo.
- ZKIE bootloader for the 3-in-1 SiP featuring the Raspberry RP2040 MCU + 2 MB Flash + W5500 chip (W55RP20) + demo.
- W6300: New high-performance 92 Mbps hardware TCP/IP (ToE) chip + streaming demo using the RP2350 on the latest W6300-EVB-Pico2 evaluation board.
- New EVBs & modules featuring WIZnet chips:
- WIZ-Port modules (RJ45 with built-in chip): W5100S, W5500, W55MH32, W55RP20 with SPI or UART interfaces as IO or S2E modules
- W6300-EVB-Pico2 (RP2350 + W6300)
- and many more
- Demos:
- Comparison: Software vs. hardware TCP/IP during a Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack on W55RP20 with lwIP vs. ToE (RP2040 + W5500)
- W6300 streaming performance on the QSPI interface with the RP2350 MCU
- Zero Knowledge Initial Enrolment (ZKIE) security demo featuring our Genesis Board (secure firmware & PKI key updates OTA) on the Renesas RA8
- Secure IoT bridge for Elektra's smart supermarket shelf
- ZKIE bootloader in the WIZ500SR-RP, WIZ505SR-RP and WIZ510SR-RP — featuring an IoT demo inside a dual LED spotlight with cloud remote control and OTA firmware updates
- 1000 m SPE demo utilising the WIZ750SR-T1L and WIZMC-T1L
